THE WAY I SEE IT I would have been thinking about strike action as an Owls player...

W E'RE expecting major protests against Sheffield Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri this afternoon as Stoke City go to Hillsborough. I'm not surprised.
That club has been launched through one crisis after another over the summer.
Wednesday players and staff didn't receive their wages on time for three months in a row and boycotted a preseason friendly at Burnley. They have decided to press on and play now the Championship started but I'm afraid I would have been arguing to go on strike and I would hope that the union would back me and look after me and my teammates.
We love football but, if I'm a player, it’s my living. I've got a family to look after, my own bills to pay and I shouldn't risk an injury which could cost me my career. The preseason schedule was tipped upside down and there were two injuries in their opening match.
Football has a big old problem. There is a huge and ever-growing disparity between the haves and the have nots. This is a division when everyone is chasing that golden nugget to get into the riches of the Premier League and there's a big hole waiting for those who fall short.
