Pelach says City experience will stand him in good stead

FOOTBALL: Narcis Pelach has opened up about his failed tenure as Stoke City's head coach.

The 36-year-old was brought in to succeed Steven Schumacher, signing a three-season deal in September. However, after a run of just three wins from 19 games he was sacked with the team in 19th place, as Mark Robins came in to help Stoke scrape over the safety line on the final day. While the Potters had three managers in one season, Pelach worked for three different clubs, starting at Norwich - where David Wagner was replaced in the off-season by Johannes Hoff Thorup - moving to Stoke and then joining West Ham after little more than two weeks out of work.
