Full house for the first time since 2018 for Wednesday on a Friday!

MARK Robins is going to exploit or utilise everything he can for the good of Stoke City, whether it's a long throw or a full house.

- Peter Smith

Stoke's winner at Cardiff last weekend came from a Junior Tchamadeu long throw, pretty much the first time since the days of Rory Delap that a throw from the sidelines has paid off for the Potters.

When he asked if he would work on that skill specifically - Tchamadeu can get a fair distance but there isn't the zip or flat trajectory of a Delap grenade - Robins instead talked about trying to make sure players are in the best place to get the best out of any given situation in any given game.

And all focus is on the next one, against Sheffield Wednesday in front of the biggest home crowd since the club was playing in the Premier League in 2018.

Robins said: "I think anybody looks at the attributes of the individuals and then tries to utilise that to the best of their ability. We look at everything, to be honest. While we've got our principles of play, the game gives you different things each time and you've got to be able to see it, react to it and then execute what you want.
