Niall Rushton duly scored the spot-kick to put Uttoxeter back into it. Soon afterwards Thorley raced clear from the halfway line and only a great tackle by Tom Vaughan halted his progress.

With two minutes remaining Brocton were awarded a penalty of their own when Charlie King was bundled over by Wood. Will Whieldon scored the spot-kick.
Uttoxeter had a shot by Luke Kellas cleared off the line but Brocton took the points.
STONE OLD ALLEYNIANS drew 1-1 at Stourport Swifts.
Les Omorodion fired wide for the Swifts and Stone's Jack Tomlinson had a shot saved by Josh Lewis in a first half of little action.
Stourport took the lead five minutes into the second half when a cross from the right was poked home by Josh McKenzie.
McKenzie headed wide from a free kick before the Old Boys levelled matters in the 73rd minute.
A corner produced a scramble in the box and Tomlinson fired a shot into the net which means he has scored in four successive games.
In the North West Counties South Division STAFFORD TOWN kept up their 100 per cent start to the season with a 1-0 victory at Allscott Heath.
