NAAC puts Al Falah University on notice for faking accreditation

THE National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has issued a show-cause notice to Al Falah University in Faridabad, now under the scanner in connection with the Red Fort blast and the so-called “white-collar terror module”, for displaying misleading accreditation claims on its website.

The university had claimed on its website that two of its institutes, Al Falah School of Engineering and Technology and Al Falah School of Education and Training, were accredited by NAAC as Graded A. The notice stated that the accreditation had expired long back.
