Students give Maisie a birthday surprise

Students from Northern Counties school, part of the Percy Hedley Foundation, visited the Fleming Court Care Home for a resident's centenary celebrations this week, making her day unforgettable.

Maisie Dalziel, a resident of Fleming Court Care Home in Jesmond, had asked for “nicely written cards” to mark her 100th birthday on June 5, leading for staff to appeal to the local community to make this happen.
