Howe would love to bring back Elliot

EDDIE Howe has admitted that he would “love” to see Elliot Anderson return to St James’ Park one day.

The Whitley Bay midfielder was sold for £35m in summer 2024 as Newcastle looked to swerve a points deduction because of a tight PSR situation.

With Anderson now in fine form with Nottingham Forest and England, Toon fans rue the day the former Academy star was sold.

When asked if he would love to see Anderson back, Howe said: “I don't know, but certainly from my perspective, I would love him to.
