HUDDERSFIELD writer Sally Wainwright's latest drama, Riot Women, which was filmed in Hebden Bridge, is set to broadcast next weekend.
Riot Women will be available to stream on BBC iPlayer from 6am on Sunday, October 12. This is ahead of the first episode airing on BBC One at 9pm. The drama, written by Huddersfield's own Sally Wainwright, who also created the award-winning and hugely popular TV series Happy Valley, follows the lives of five women who enter a local talent contest.
It is a massive flex for Yorkshire, and those who want to know about the show can attend a premiere viewing hosed by Sally herself at Hebden Bridge Picture House, in New Road, next Tuesday, October 7.
