Plymouth RNLI lifeboat volunteers feature in BBC documentary

THE crew of RNLI volunteers at Plymouth Lifeboat Station are appearing on a BBC programme on Thursday (September 25) highlighting a dramatic diver rescue it successfully made last year.

The episode - in the 10th season of the BBC Two series Saving Lives at Sea - follows Plymouth RNLI responding to a Mayday call in May last year, when both of the station's lifeboats launched following reports of a diver who had surfaced unresponsive, about a mile south of Plymouth Breakwater.
