Plenty of issues to resolve and Argyle now need action

WHEN chief executive officer Andrew Parkinson issued a message to the Green Army after Plymouth Argyle's relegation was officially confirmed following the season-ending 2-1 defeat by Leeds United at Home Park he raised a number of important topics but without adding much clarity to them.
That is something which has become an issue surrounding the club over what has been a very challenging last 18 months for everyone at Argyle. The fanbase have often heard the phrases 'in due course' or 'in the final stages' or 'will be able to announce details of this soon.
Sometimes there can be very valid reasons for that. Football clubs are businesses, subject to commercial sensitivities. Supporters should not expect to be told all about everything. Deals to bring in new investment, for example, are bound to be complicated and take time.
However, when fans are regularly told something is about to happen, or is on the horizon, but then there is no more detail than that you cannot expect them not to become increasingly sceptical. It feels like that is the point we have reached with Argyle.
It is just 89 days until the Pilgrims will begin their 2025/26 League One campaign. The club have much to sort out between now and then so they can give themselves the best possible chance of mounting a promotion push.
Clearing up the future of Miron Muslic
Miron Muslic signed a three-and-a-half year contract with Argyle when he was appointed as head coach in January and although the Pilgrims were relegated nearly everyone agrees he did a good job in difficult circumstances so, in theory, his future is not an issue.
However, in three recent Press conferences he has not committed himself to being at Home Park for the 2025/26 League One campaign when asked about that. Inevitably, that has led to lots of social media speculation about why that has been the case and what might happen next.
This is what Muslic (below) said after the game against Leeds. "We are relegated now for seven, eight days. Believe me, I'm empty. I don't have the power right now to think about the potential future because that takes a lot of focus, a lot of concentration, a lot of energy.
