Troubled time for Tavistock

THE season certainly doesn’t get any easier for Tavistock.

Even before a ball had been kicked, players that had pledged to join for the 2025/26 season left, tempted by the lure of more money, which made a tough challenge that much harder for manager Stuart Henderson.The Lambs are arguably the smallest fish in the Southern League Division One south pond and after three seasons fighting against the odds, their time could be coming to an end at Step Four, unless they can arrest their current slide and see a significant shift in results and momentum.

Itis seven straight defeats for Henderson’s young squad, with 25 goals being conceded in that time. Their last five games has seen them concede three at Westbury United, four against Fal-mouth Town, six to Hartpury, five at Malvern and four against leaders Frome Town.
