MCCABE TRAINS WITH SENIOR SQUAD

IT has been an eventful week to say the least for 19-year-old Law McCabe.

First, the highly-rated Middlesbrough midfielder completed the first loan move of his career by signing for Plymouth Argyle until the end of the season.

Then on Wednesday, as the teenager prepared with the England under-20s players at St George's Park for an international game against Italy lastnight, McCabe got the chance to train with Thomas Tuchel's senior Three Lions squad.

Tuchel's England will play Andorra in their latest 2026 World Cup qualifier at Villa Park on Saturday, and there was an opportunity for McCabe and Nottingham Forest's 19-year-old defender Zach Abbott to get a taste of that elite level in training.

McCabe will travel to Plymouth for the start of next week, ahead of the away League One game against Luton Town on Saturday, September 13.
