Marines hit the road on a 'Brotherhood Ride'

'LIFTING THE LID’ ON MENTAL HEALTH AND INCREASING NUMBER OF SUICIDES

FOUR former Royal Marines are visiting every Royal Marines unit in Britain this week in a 1,664-mile bid to halt the number of deaths by suicide among their comrades.

This year has seen a tragic rise in the number of former or serving Royal Marines taking their own lives; 2024 also saw a rise in the number of suicides within the Corps.

The 'Brotherhood Ride, began at Commando Training Centre Royal Marines (CTCRM), Lympstone, last Sunday and will see former Royal Marines Aldo Kane - TV adventurer and lead of Apple TV+ 2025 The Wild Ones documentary series - and Paul White, taking it in turns to ride a custom Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 motorcycle to every Royal Marines unit.

Members of the Royal Marines Association Motorcycle Branch (aka 'Bootnecks and Bikes') accompanied them to their first stop in Plymouth.
