Inspectors checking PL1 home electrics
The Herald
|October 14, 2025
SOME Plymouth residents will be visited by National Grid next week, as part of a safety inspection programme. From October 22, properties in the PL1 area will receive visits from the National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) team.
The visits, which include domestic properties and small businesses, will check that service termination points inside properties are working as they should.
The service termination point, also known as a cutout, is the indoor location where the main incoming electricity service cable and fuse is situated, in most cases close to the electricity meter.
