EXTRA SPACE AND LONGER OPENING TIMES AIM TO HELP PATIENTS AND STAFF

A NEW pharmacy has opened at Derriford Hospital, aimed at putting an end to the long queues at the former facility.
Outpatients who need medication following a hospital appointment will now be able to collection their prescription from a new Boots pharmacy, which opened this week.
The old outpatient pharmacy at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust (UHP) faced growing demand, with nearly 3,000 items dispensed every week, meaning it had outgrown its available space.
