Kirkcudbright hosts half-marathon and 'Burn up'events
The popular Kirkcudbright Half Marathon and Buckland Burn Up took place on Saturday.
More than 130 runners tackled both events - around 30 per cent more than last year.
And Saturday's fun was followed by the monthly farmers' market on Sunday, with both events proving popular.
Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities chairman, John Blackie, said: "The weather was kind on the Saturday, we didn't have rain and it was cool for the runners.
