SCOTLAND'S World Cup qualifying rivals Denmark made heavy weather of it last night before finally beating a young Northern Ireland side.

SCOTS' RIVALS SUFFER BIT OF DANE FREEZE

Goals from Gustav Isaksen and Christian Eriksen settled the issue after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s own goal had given the Irish the lead.

Scotland travel to face the Danes in their Group C qualifier in September before hosting the seeds at Hampden in November.

And they will hope the Danish hotshots have the same difficulty in finding the net as yesterday.

They mustered 24 shots and dominated Michael O'Neill's youthful side in this friendly at Parken.

But defender Conor Bradley felt the Northern Irish had made a point.

He said: “We knew it was going to be difficult so I'm proud of the lads.
