LOSTPROPHETS pervert Ian Watkins was knifed to death in prison yesterday.

The paedophile rock singer bled to death when a fellow convict cut his throat.

The killer pounced as inmates were let out of cells at about 9.30am in Wakefield jail.

A source at the top security West Yorkshire prison dubbed Monster Mansion said: "The attack was shocking even by prison standards.

"Guards raced to the scene pretty quickly but there was nothing they could do.

"It was a horrific scene, with blood everywhere."
