TOWN HALL EVENT MARKED 80 YEARS SINCE END OF WAR

RETFORD veterans and residents gathered to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
Dignitaries, veterans and other invited guests attended Retford Town Hall on Thursday, May 8 to mark 80 years since Victory in Europe Day, when the Second World War came to an end in Europe in 1945.
The event was to remember those who lost their lives and to celebrate the victory.
