GIRLS ARE FUNDRAISING FOR A LIFE-CHANGING TRIP

- By TED O'NEILL

A FUNDRAISING event in Retford this weekend will help raise money for two young people to make a life-changing trip across the world.

Charlotte Perry, and Macey Wilkinson both 16 are raising funds for a trip to Peru next year. Once there, they want to help local communities improve their lives by building, cleaning and helping sustainably.

They will be working in local schools and hope to have the adventure of a lifetime, but they have to raise approximately £10,000 for both girls to go.

They are holding a coffee morning this Saturday to help raise the money where there will be coffee and cake, a tombola, homegrown plants and honey from Tickhill’s Beardy Beekeeper for sale.
