Talented pupils gave competition judges real Food for Thought

Talented pupils at Johnstone High School were runners-up in a national enterprising competition after impressing judges.

They may have just missed out on the top prize in the national final of Young Enterprise Scotland's (YES) company programme, but the Food for Thought enterprise team impressed the judges to triumph in three categories: social impact, best business report and people's choice.

Super students came up with social enterprise Food for Thought to focus on reducing food poverty in their local area and raising awareness about food waste and its global impact.
