Council approve plan for eco-friendly home

Plans to build a plush two-storey home on a plot of land in a leafy residential area of Paisley have been given the go ahead by Renfrewshire Council.

An application for planning permission submitted by CadTech Design on behalf of an applicant - for the proposal in Thornly Park Avenue has been granted, subject to conditions, by the local authority.

The “high-quality” house with private amenity space and parking provision is set to be built behind another property in the suburban street.

A report of handling by the chief planning officer explained: “This application seeks planning permission for the erection of a dwellinghouse to the rear a detached dwellinghouse.
