BOSS PLEASED BY MAGPIES' REACTION TO CLAIM WIN
Notts County head coach Martin Paterson said his team's supporters helped his side turn the game around against Walsall.
(SHUTTERSTOCK)
ONE moment stood out for Notts County head coach Martin Paterson as the Magpies turned the tables on Walsall last Saturday.
The Saddlers led 1-0 at halftime but Paterson's men claimed all three points in a 2-1 win with late goals from Ollie Norburn and Jodi Jones.
Paterson and his players were disappointed with the first-half display and an honest breakdown at the interval led to the turnaround, which the Notts boss could pinpoint in a single moment.
"One of the passages I was most pleased with was when it went to 1-1, and they pressed us, but we triangulated a way out of it with a really good bit of clean, confident play," said Paterson.
