Green light for new special needs college

PLANS for a college for people with learning difficulties have been approved.

Peter Barnes applied to Nottingham City Council for the new college in Mansfield Road in March and the authority approved it on Tuesday.
The site is on the corner of Mansfield Road and Church Drive, near Sherwood and Mapperley Park. It was previously used as a health clinic, Harley Medical Group, over two floors, with treatment rooms, a reception area and a lift for disabled access to the second floor.
