Hard work pays off as park given five-star rating

BARNSTAPLE'S green-fingered community is celebrating after Rock Park was awarded a five-star rating in the South West in Bloom Pride in Parks Award.

The accolade has been hailed as a glowing endorsement of the town’s commitment to community engagement, environmental excellence and top-notch maintenance.

The five-star recognition highlights the efforts of local volunteers, Barnstaple in Bloom, the town council rangers and residents dedicated to maintaining and improving one of the town's best-loved public spaces.

The Pride in Parks judging panel praised Rock Park for its immaculate presentation, welcoming environment and dedication to sustainability.
