FAMILIES in the Torridge district looking to shake off the festive fog and walk off the Christmas pudding are being invited to join a series of free outdoor adventures which begin today.

The council says the activities aim to encourage people of all ages to reconnect with nature and improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
Those wishing to make progress on their new year resolutions can join the Northam Burrows rangers for a free guided walk today, Thursday, January 1.
