Wherever you live in the UK, the price of raising a pint of beer is getting dearer and dearer, new research has shown – though there are places where a pint will cost less than £5.

The average price of a pint in Yorkshire is £3.31, making it one of the cheapest regions in the UK.

The North East will now likely pay £4.77 for a pint, up from £4.56 in September. This is five percent below the UK average of £5.01 and is the most affordable pint you can find in the country.

In a new study called 2025 Pint Price Index, TopFootball BettingSites.co.uk analysed the data on the average price of a pint of draught lager up to January from the Office for National Statistics/
