Harriers take top honours in Inter Club race series

The final race in the Inter Club series at Worden Park saw 67 Preston Harriers senior road runners turn out in force and they showed what a formidable squad of athletes they are.

With the final scores feeding into the overall series results it soon became evident that after seven races, Preston Harriers had come away outright winners in the male, female, vets 50 and vets 60 team categories.

With seven clubs going head-to-head in seven races held between April and September, the Inter Club race series has been held since 1985.
