Lancashire Resilience Forum launches safer winter campaign

The Lancashire Resilience Forum is launching a month-long campaign to promote valuable tips to help individuals and communities across the county to be better prepared for potential winter emergencies such as freezing weather, flooding and power cuts.

Taking place throughout January the campaign, called "Be Winter Ready", will give advice about how to prepare and respond to possible problems stemming from the harsher weather and highlight the support available from organisations including the emergency services, local authorities, health bodies, utility companies, the voluntary sector and others.
