ACB Files Chargesheet For Misappropriation Of MGNREGA Funds

Jammu and Kashmir Anti Corruption Bureau produced a chargesheet against five persons in the misappropriation of funds under MGNREGA in the Doda district.
According to a statement, the chargesheet was filed in case FIR No.25/2015 PS VOJ (now ACB) u/s 5 (1) (d) r/w 5 (2) JKPC Act Svt. 2006 and Section 120-B, 420, 467, 468 and 471 RPC against accused persons namely Hukum Singh, then assistant executive engineer REW sub-division Bhaderwah, Barkat Ali, then naib sarpanch Panchayat Gurekhra, Kartar Singh, then secretary panchayat/VLW Gurekhra, Mohd Aslam, then technical assis
