GENTLEMAN DE MEE gave jockey Mark Walsh a first victory over the Grand National fences when pouncing on Lisnamult Lad for the Randox Supporting Prostate Cancer UK Topham Handicap Chase.

The Ian Donoghue-trained runner-up jumped the final fence in front but was twice hampered by loose-running Ash Tree Meadow - the 80-1 shot had unseated Donoghue's younger brother Keith at the 11th obstacle - on the run to the line.

Walsh seized his opportunity, driving Gentleman De Mee to a three-quarter-length win.
