Former England keeper Hart: Harry so crucial for summer

JOE HART has hailed Harry Kane as England's equivalent of the great Lionel Messi.

And Hart has laughed off suggestions the Three Lions have become too reliant on someone he believes to be one of the greatest strikers of his generation.

Not for the first time, England will head to a World Cup this summer knowing Kane's form and fitness will be crucial to their chances of success.

Despite hurtling towards the age of 33, Kane remains the jewel in England's crown. He has plundered a record 78 goals in 112 international appearances, not to mention a staggering 130 in 133 games for Bayern Munich, since joining them from Tottenham in 2023.
