RASMUS HOJLUND scored twice for Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

- BY STEVEN RAILSTON

Hojlund showcased his pace to get in behind Sporting Lisbon's backline for the first goal, and finished brilliantly with a header to win the game for Napoli after a Sporting equaliser.

Speaking after the game, Kevin De Bruyne compared Hojlund (above) to Erling Haaland, which begs the question: why do players improve significantly when they leave Manchester United?

Scott McTominay has been a revelation at Napoli. McTominay was named Serie A player of the year as Napoli won the Scudetto last season and was subsequently nominated for the Ballon d'Or.

Marcus Rashford (circle, top) recently scored twice for Barcelona in their win against Newcastle in the Champions League.

Anthony Elanga (circle, middle) left United a few years ago, and he's just picked up a Champions League man of the match award.
