Gardai still probing violent assault

THREE arrests have been made in connection with the death of a 44-year-old postal worker in Co Cork over the weekend.

Father-of-four Barry Daly was found deceased outside a residence in the Rockview Terrace area of Doneraile in Mallow at around 3am on Sunday morning, having suffered what is suspected to have been a violent death.

A postmortem is set to be conducted at Cork University Hospital to assist gardai with the course of their investigation.

Two men, one aged in his 20s and a juvenile in his late teens, were arrested yesterday morning. Last night, gardai also arrested a second juvenile as part of their investigation.
