A NEW plan has been submitted to knock down Exeter's former police station and build more than 800 homes for university students and local people.
It is a revised and re-designed version of one previously rejected by the city council. It has more co-living and less student accommodation than the last one.
After the police station and neighbouring magistrates’ court shut in 2020, a plan was put forward for buildings containing more than 1,000 bedrooms, which was swiftly reduced to 955 as both proposed buildings were reduced in height.
