Water tank will come into play during heavy rain to stem flooding

A NEW storage tank has been installed by Anglian Water to help protect the local area from flooding.
The storage tank in Horncastle will be able to hold 108,000 litres of water during heavy rainfall until the network frees up.
This project will provide additional resilience to extreme weather caused by climate change and protect local communities and the environment from flooding and pollution.
This comes after the extreme rainfall last winter caused the sewer network to become overwhelmed with excess water.
