Star returns to hurdles on big day for Nicky

NICKY HENDERSON insists today’s Ladbrokes Christmas Hurdle is “the right race” for his brilliant Sir Gino.

With the trainer's four-time winner Constitution Hill's career held at a crossroads by jumping frailties, Sir Gino returns to timber after two impressive scores over fences last season.

His campaign was cut short by a ligament infection last February.

"It was an illness, more than an injury," said Henderson.
