WE are less than a week away from our national days commemorating those who have served and sacrificed in wars and conflicts, and those who continue to serve.
Around Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday, many people choose to show their respect for this service by wearing poppies and many more by observing the 2 minutes' silence on both occasions.
I've always taken a small active part by observing the silence and buying a poppy whenever I see a Royal British Legion volunteer selling them.
However having taken over an SME retail business earlier this year and therefore a public facing organisation, I began to wonder what else I could do to support especially for those who have served and are back now on 'civvy' street.
