Jez out to end year on a high

LIVEWIRE hooker Jez Litten insists victory over Australia tomorrow would be his “best win of the year”.

Defeat in the opening two Tests means the fate of the Ashes is already decided, but Litten is adamant that England are determined to finish on a high at Headingley.

The 27-year-old was central to Hull KR’s unprecedented success this year, claiming the League Leaders’ Shield, Challenge Cup and Super League title.

His form earned him a deserved recall to the international stage under coach Shaun Wane, having previously won one cap in 2023.
