Trio held on suspicion of helping Vlad's spies

THREE men have been arrested on suspicion of assisting Russia's intelligence service.

The trio, aged 44, 45 and 48, were held as part of an investigation into alleged offences under the National Security Act.

It comes as detectives try to clamp down on the increasing number of “proxies” being recruited by foreign intelligence services.
