कोशिश गोल्ड - मुक्त
Still searching for loved ones and our compassion
Daily Mirror UK
|April 01, 2025
SOME realities are hard to accept. For example, that our Labour government is balancing the books on the backs of the poor, completely abandoning the people it claimed it would care for when in power.
Another is that certain sections of our media landscape are utterly committed to winding the nation up and driving a wedge between communities.
Also, that the police are prone to visiting, mob-handed, parents who dare criticise schools in defence of their kids.
And that our world, with every passing day, is becoming more and more unstable as international relations worsen.
Painful truths, that can reveal the selfish, cold side to humanity.
But something this column refuses to accept is that our society doesn't care about people who vanish off the face of the Earth.
Even though the evidence to the contrary is damning.
