PRES IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD

A TOP US official has been forced from office after allegedly refusing to hand over a historic sword to present to King Charles.

Todd Arrington was director of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, which houses artefacts linked with the former US leader.

He didn't want the sword to be a gift from President Trump to the King during his UK state visit.

Sources say Mr Arrington was told to “resign or be fired” after refusing to bow to White House pressure.
