Star Wars fan Rahm reckons, The Force is with Donald's team

JON RAHM reckons the force will be with Luke Donald's Ryder Cup team in the USA after revealing he is a huge Star Wars fan.

And the Spanish superstar claimed it will be “fun” to face the American crowds in New York, saying: “They can be hurtful in a good way. You can almost use that energy to help you out.”

The double Major champion needed a wild card to make a fourth consecutive European team after defecting to LIV Golf in December 2023.

“I did not think I was going to be as emotional as I feel right now being picked,” he admitted.

“It's going to be very special.”

But Rahm also showed his light side when speaking from his USA home in Arizona with images of the big loves of his life on the wall in his office behind him.

There was the crest of his football team Athletic Bilbao and pictures of himself with his wife Kelley and Spanish golf legend Seve Ballesteros. And then an image of Baby Yoda.
