Kidman files for divorce after 19yrs with singer

NICOLE Kidman has been reportedly blindsided by her split from husband Keith Urban.

The Oscar-winning actress, 58, filed for divorce last night after the country singer, who turns 58 next month, ended their 19-year marriage.

The couple, who share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, have spent increasing time apart due to their hectic schedules.

"She was blindsided," a source said before divorce was filed. "But we shall see how things go during the holiday season." Keith recently bought his own home in Nashville, Tennessee, where the family are based, sources claim.

Nicole petitioned to end the marriage in a Nashville court, citing "irreconcilable differences."
