MILEY'S SMILEY AFTER RECORD

LEWIS MILEY has vowed to keep scoring goals after making history in Newcastle's Champions League tie against Bayer Leverkusen.

The 19-year-old midfielder became the club’s youngest goalscorer in Europe’s most prestigious club competition on Wednesday night when he headed the Magpies in front in the BayArena.

Disappointingly for Toon, the game ended 2-2, but Miley (celebrating his goal, above) was thrilled after being made aware of his feat.

Having been used mainly as a holding midfielder under Eddie Howe (inset), Miley's goal followed on from a strike against Everton as the teenager showed his prowess.
