AI burger recipes that could save planet... and taste great

HERE'S something to chew over - a new burger has been created using AI technology, and some say it's as good as a Big Mac.

After analysing 2,216 recipes, the new artificial intelligence tool produced five different patties that were blind taste-tested by 101 diners.

Scientists were looking to create food that tastes great while reducing the impact on the environment.

In the test, BurgerAI's two variations of its beef-based Delicious Burger scored either the same or better than the McDonald's Big Mac in overall liking, flavour and texture.

Its mushroom-beef blend Sustainable Burger 2 also matched the McDonald's staple for flavour.
