Lush on soapbox over Gaza famine

COSMETICS firm Lush shut its UK stores and closed its website for the day yesterday to highlight the plight of those starving in Gaza.

The business, which has more than 100 shops, put messages in windows saying: "Stop starving Gaza, we are closed in solidarity." It also closed its factories.
