Scientists say climate intervention may not be enough to secure the future of grape, coffee and cacao crops in the face of rising global temperatures.

The crops are increasingly vulnerable, says a study in journal Environmental Research Letters.

Rising temperatures and changing patterns of rainfall cause big variations in crop yields, meaning that farmers cannot rely on the stability of their harvest.
