DANIEL FARKE has told Ao Tanaka not to be so harsh on himself after the Leeds midfielder claimed he was not “good enough’ for the Premier League.

The Japan star (with Farke, above) started his first game for two months in Friday's win against West Ham. After returning from a knee injury in the second game of the season against Arsenal, he found his path to the starting XI blocked by Sean Longstaff (circle) and Anton Stach.

Tanaka was given the nod to start against the Hammers, where he, understandably, looked off the pace. He had previously enjoyed just 42 minutes in four substitute appearances since coming back from injury.
