William's uni friend dies in fall from hotel roof

A FORMER university friend of Prince William has died after falling from the top of a five-star hotel.

Ben Duncan, who also appeared on Big Brother, plunged seven floors from the rooftop bar of Trafalgar St James in the West End, police said yesterday.

The 45-year-old's body was found shortly after officers were dispatched to investigate reports of a “man on the roof”.

A statement from the Met Police added: “Officers responded to concerns for a man in Cockspur Street, Westminster, at 11.02pm on Thursday. The man sadly fell from a height.

“Despite the best efforts from the London Ambulance Service, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
